# What You Can Do Here

  • View sales summary (today, this week, this month)
  • See low stock alerts

# Understanding the Dashboard

# Sales Overview

The dashboard typically shows:

  • Today's Sales: Total sales for today
  • This Week's Sales: Sales for the current week
  • This Month's Sales: Sales for the current month
  • Total Revenue: Overall revenue

# Low Stock Alerts

If you're tracking inventory, you'll see:

  • Low Stock Products: Products below minimum quantity
  • Out of Stock: Products with zero stock
  • Click on alerts to go directly to those products

# Recent Sales

  • Latest Sales: List of most recent transactions
  • Sale Number: Unique sale identifier
  • Customer: Customer name (if applicable)
  • Amount: Sale total
  • Date/Time: When the sale occurred
  • Click on a sale to view details

# Date Filters (If Available)

Some dashboards allow filtering by date:

  1. Look for date picker or filter buttons
  2. Select date range:
    • Today
    • This Week
    • This Month
    • Custom Range
  3. Dashboard updates automatically

# Verify Dashboard Loads

  • ✅ Dashboard page displays without errors
  • ✅ Sales numbers are visible

  1. Compare with Sales page:
    • Go to Sales in sidebar
    • Check if numbers match dashboard
  2. Check date range:
    • Verify "Today" shows today's sales only

# Dashboard Shows Zero Sales

Issue: All metrics show $0.00

Solutions:

  1. Check date filter: Make sure correct date range is selected
  2. Verify sales exist: Go to Sales page, check if sales are recorded
  3. Check branch/register: Ensure correct branch/register is selected
  4. Refresh page: Sometimes data needs refresh

# Low Stock Not Showing

Issue: No low stock alerts even though stock is low

Solutions:

  1. Check minimum quantities: Products need min quantity set
  2. Verify stock tracking: Ensure inventory tracking is enabled
  3. Check warehouse: Ensure stock is added to warehouses

# Dashboard Not Loading

Issue: Page shows "Loading..." or error

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page (F5 or Ctrl+R)
  2. Check internet connection
  3. Clear browser cache
  4. Try different browser
